SISLER JOHNSTON COMPLETES THREE ICI MODEL HOMES IN
PLANTATION GROVE AT JULINGTON CREEK PLANTATION

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – Sisler Johnston Interior Design has completed the installation of three new model homes by ICI Homes in Plantation Grove at Julington Creek Plantation.

"ICI Homes builds beautiful family friendly homes with open, flowing floorplan designs," said Judith Sisler Johnston, president of Sisler Johnston Interior Design and ASID Allied Member. "These generous-sized model homes provide an abundance of natural light and also offer an exceptional array of built-in features."

The Danbury model is a striking two-story home in khaki stucco with stacked stone accents and double decorative glass and wood entry doors with transom windows above a double story foyer. Sisler Johnston used lavishly designed window treatments in the foyer and staircase walls to take advantage of the expansive volume.

The formal living room has decorative picture moulding on the sofa wall to create architectural interest and allow for a two-toned paint scheme. The fabric accents -- a traditional French toile in lively crimson, amber and emerald against a tea-stained linen background -- are carried into the pillows, chair, ottoman and window treatment designs. An iron open shelf étagère displays collectibles.

The dining room has a formal table setting for six with customized fabric place settings and chair seats which coordinate with the adjacent living room upholstery. The side chairs are a French country carved wood ladder back style and the host chairs are slip covered and fully upholstered for contrast. A double arched glass and wood curio is a showcase for dinnerware and decorative accessories.

The family room, breakfast room and kitchen all open onto one another. Natural coral cut stone surrounds the family room fireplace and the mantle has a recessed art niche. The family room entertainment furniture is designed for large screen viewing with a sofa, loveseat and lounge chair decorated in textured neutrals with patterned pillow accents.

The kitchen has elongated cabinetry in a distressed maple finish with caramel glaze and Giallo Vecinza Italian granite countertops. A round Persian carpet defines the breakfast area, which is surrounded by eight-foot glass windows, flooding the morning space with natural light.

The master bedroom has an iron bed accompanied by a mirror front armoire, comfortable reading chair in Java wicker and a pie crust accent table with an iron base. The window treatments have a Royal Crest emblem-style design and the bedding features pre-washed diamond patterned chenille fabrics with emerald green contrast branding.

The upstairs of the home leads to a bonus room and three bedrooms, one which is merchandised as a home office. The girl's bedroom has a hand-painted dresser and nightstand featuring ladybugs and beach critters. The boy's bedroom is designed for a junior fisherman with hand-painted headboards, coordinating bed covers and accessories. The customized window cornice has genuine fishing rods and lures for decoration. The upstairs bonus room is also designed with the fishing enthusiast in mind. A cocktail table highlights a fishing boat with glass top. Lighthouses, lanterns and framed trophies tell the fisherman's story and the furnishings provide ample seating for the family to enjoy their favorite fishing show on the sports channel.

The Hearthstone model demonstrates the use of layered neutrals accented by bold colors and contrasting textures to create interest in a beautiful family home. Sisler Johnston decorated the model in shades of evergreen, rust and gold. The Hearthstone has an impressive dining room with wainscot detail. The room is merchandised with a large round table set atop a custom patterned carpet and accompanied by an iron hutch. There is an ornately carved mirror flanked by lighted wall sconces in a bronze iron finish.

The family room has a fireplace surrounded by windows and built-in cabinets in a cocoa glazed maple. Sisler Johnston used furnishings in the same warm maple finish and added a comfortable sofa and loveseat with contrasting accent pillows. The kitchen has Corian countertops and wicker/rattan barstools accommodate the breakfast ledge.

The master bedroom is large enough to accommodate a four-poster king bed, full size bench, dresser, lounge chair and floor lamp. The home office in the front of the house could also function as a third bedroom. It features a wall of bookcases and is decorated for the vintage cigar collector with an antique cigar box tapestry design on the window décor, which is trimmed with actual cigar collectables. The room allows for a table desk and two comfortable leather chairs.

For the other bedroom, Sisler selected an exotic leopard print bedcover accompanied by accessory pillows and window treatments in an elephant parade print. There's a handpainted accent table among the wood and rattan furnishings. Textured walls are colored in savory green. The large upstairs bonus bedroom is designed for children. It features a sailing theme with beadboard headboards, life preserver pillows and a nautical lamp. The room is decorated with sailing maps and compasses as well as a small beadboard play table featuring different color accent chairs.

The Canterbury model is also a large family home with an open design and exceptional style. The formal dining room, a bright, sunny room with a bay window to the front of the house, features wainscot detail and a large rectangular glass top table with a stone base. The wall coverings are in soft neutral tones with a scroll palm leaf design accented by carpeting and drapes in a wheat tone highlighted by jade and cranberry accents. The large scale decorative console mirror is eye-catching with its ornate iron detail.

This house also has a large family living area, covering the kitchen, family room and breakfast room. The family room accommodates a large sectional sofa and chaise lounge. The corner fireplace has a mansion high mantel and art niche above surrounded by stone. The ceiling has decorative accent painting with step detail, triple-crown moulding and recessed lighting highlights art over the fireplace.

The kitchen, with an island and breakfast bar, has cherry cabinets accented by bronze hardware. Faux finish walls coverings are in emerald tones with golden highlights and provide a dramatic backdrop. Sisler Johnston used a tropical fabric with cranberry banding on the accent pillows, placemats, bar stool seats and window coverings.

The master bedroom is designed in a British Colonial style with dark cherry furnishings, including a four-poster king bed with shell and pineapple relief. The bed coverings are in a neutral golden tone with colorful shams in a tropical wild orchid pattern. The fabric detail extends to the master bath, where arched window treatments frame a Roman tub that sits in front of a large window.

The upstairs of the home opens onto a large open bonus room designed to appeal to the golf enthusiast, including an accent table designed with golf clubs. A third bedroom upstairs is shown as a home office and extends the golfing theme. The boy's bedroom is designed with a surfer in mind and the girl's bedroom is very feminine and colorful.
