Sisler Johnston Interior Design has completed the installation of three furnished models at Sail Cove Town Center, a new condominium conversion community on Jacksonville’s Southside. The community has been completely renovated with an array of amenities.
“Sail Cove is a beautifully situated condominium community,” said Judith Sisler Johnston, president, Sisler Johnston Interior Design and ASID Allied Member. “Residents enjoy an array of amenities and can choose from four spectacular floor plans with designer features.”
The renovated residences feature many upgrades, including designer kitchens, new large porcelain tile, crown moulding in living areas, garden tubs, raised-height vanities with cultured marble countertops, new faucets, new light fixtures and hardware. Some residences offer granite countertops, built-in bookcases and entertainment centers with storage cabinetry for movies and games.
In the spacious three-bedroom model, Sisler Johnston combined rich leathers and maple furnishings in the eclectic style that has become Pottery Barn’s signature contemporary design. The living room includes a sectional sofa with chaise lounge upholstered in a camel textured fabric and contrasted with a crimson welt. Sisler Johnston added wicker to the lounge chair and colorful cushions in a crimson paisley with lime green accents. The neutral window treatments with crimson banding add high impact.

The model shows the third bedroom as a home office with a desk, display cabinet and oversized lounge chair. The master bedroom has a Sisler Johnston custom designed window pane headboard in crimson and cream. The bed dressings carry tropical patterning in the bed skirt and texture in the comforter. The guest room has a contemporary spindle headboard with a soft eyebrow design dressed with a cream chenille grid pattern comforter and crimson dot bed skirt.
In the two-bedroom model, Sisler Johnston selected a Caribbean motif with bamboo and wicker combined with mahogany woods. Savory and cinnamon fabrics are punctuated with black accents. The two master suites are merchandised with French
colonial furniture designs. One has a leopard comforter with palm tree pillows and accents in sage and persimmon.
In the one-bedroom model, the walls are bathed in a soft spa blue color which is accented in some of the contemporary upholstered pieces and bedcovers. Sisler Johnston selected creamy fabric window dressings to accompany the light cherry furniture containing platinum metal embellishments.
In all of the models, Sisler Johnston’s work reflects her artistic sensibilities. The models’ simple, contemporary designs are appealing to the eye. Sail Cove Town Center is located on Gate Parkway north of J. Turner Butler Boulevard and represented exclusively by Lifestyles Realtors. Sessions Development Corporation is the developer.
