ORLANDO, Florida – Sisler Johnston Interior Design has been honored with four industry awards.  The company received two Excel Awards from the Florida Home Builders Association.  Sisler Johnston’s work was also recognized with two Aurora Awards received by The Evans Group architects.  Winners for both competitions were announced at the Southeast Building Conference in Orlando.

The Excel Awards recognized the Jacksonville-based interior design firm with a gold award for Best Interior Merchandising – Resort Space for its work at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, where Sisler Johnston redesigned the Peyton House guest rooms and suites.  The renovation included a complete redesign of the bath and dressing areas.

Sisler Johnston also received a silver award for Best Interior Merchandising – Average Sales Over $500,001 for the Plantation II model by ICI Homes at Magnolia Preserve.  The colorful model home showcases spectacular architectural detailing and design features.  The Excel Awards attracted over 270 entries, the largest in its history. 

In the Aurora Awards, the Evans Group architects received a Grand Aurora Award for Detached Single Family Home honoring the Charleston model at Amelia Park by Brylen Homes and merchandised by Sisler Johnston Interior Design.  The Evans Group also captured an Aurora Award honoring the Barcelona model at Palencia by Brylen Homes with merchandising by Sisler Johnston Interior Design.

The Aurora Awards is a nationally recognized regional competition honoring builders, designers, architects and other home building industry professionals in a 12-state southeast region that includes Florida.
