JACKSONVILLE, Florida – The work of Jacksonville interior designer Judith Sisler Johnston, president of Sisler Johnston Interior Design and ASID allied member, is featured in Florida Design, a prestigious coffee table book showcasing the state’s best architecture and interiors.
Florida Design is the newest hardbound publication of Florida Design magazine, the magazine for fine interior design and furnishings. The 202-page, full-color hardbound book highlights the work of more than 40 award-winning professional design firms, including Sisler Johnston Interior Design.
“I am honored to be among this select group of talented professionals representing design excellence in the state of Florida,” Sisler Johnston said. “This handsome book presents stunning photography of many magnificent properties, including two that I had the pleasure of working on.”
Sisler Johnston is Jacksonville’s leading authority on designing spectacular spaces that are beautiful and functional. Her designs for the Tuscany condominium model at Hammock Dunes and Jacksonville’s Summerland Hall at Sweetwater are featured in Florida Design. Tuscany by WCI Communities reflects the sumptuous oceanfront lifestyle available at the Palm Coast resort community while Summerland Hall, the amenities center for the active-adult Sweetwater community by Del Webb, a division of Pulte Homes, is an inspired design that rivals a fine resort or private club.
“Interior design should evoke the essence of a place, complement its architectural style and convey a timeless quality,” Sisler Johnston said. “Effective design sets the tone and understanding clients’ goals makes it possible to develop a setting that is memorable and lasting.”
