JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA –
Sisler Johnston Interior Design has completed the interiors for LandMar’s new corporate office in Jacksonville.
“My challenge was to provide the company with a corporate persona consistent with its presence as one of Jacksonville’s premier developers of master planned communities and condominiums throughout the southeast region,” said Judith Sisler Johnston, president, Sisler Johnston Interior Design and ASID Allied Member. “LandMar’s new space represents them well.”
LandMar occupies more than 14,000 square feet in the Deerwood Park office complex on Jacksonville’s Southside. The Deerwood Park office holds the operations of LandMar Group, Hampton Golf, which coordinates the design, construction and management of all LandMar golf courses, and the headquarters of the Monique Burr Foundation for Children.
Sisler Johnston’s color palette for the headquarters includes shades of espresso, latte, caramel, sage, russet, and mountain berry. For the expansive lobby and reception area, Sisler Johnston located a unique 36” walnut travertine floor tile and added mahogany leather furnishings and tapestries. Hand-knotted Persian carpets define the lobby’s seating area.
The reception area has a large circular greeting desk against walls that have been embellished with tumbled marble mosaic details encased in millwork mouldings. Dramatic pedestals, supported by handled urns with cascading Boston ferns, flank each side and are finished in a dark chocolate crackle. Although the original walls within the reception area did not accommodate a logo wall, Sisler Johnston recommended raising an existing soffit to create space for the company’s logo.
LandMar’s conference room is designed with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment provided by DiscoverTec. The audio and video distribution systems, which include presentation and display technology, IP-based video conferencing and automation, make it possible for LandMar executives to conduct ‘real-time’ video conferencing with staff and colleagues across the region. The conference room also has a fully equipped kitchen to accommodate corporate meetings and functions.
The expansive conference room table has an imported granite top and is surrounded by midnight black leather executive chairs. The walls and ceiling have a mahogany paneled finish with faux Venetian layering. Two dramatic pendant fixtures in bronze with alabaster glass are suspended over the table and add character. For the tailored custom draperies and cornices, woven upholstery in noir camel and sage complement the granite and carpet tones.
LandMar’s new office accommodates nearly 50 and serves as the corporate headquarters for LandMar’s 135-person team that includes offices in Palm Coast, Tampa, Ft. Myers, Orlando and St. Marys, Ga.
